FUN Post Alert! Halloween Special

Hello Everyone Investing in Hamilton!!

Real estate investing and living for that matter is nothing with out having some fun along the way.  You don’t have to wait till you own 10 properties or cashflow 5,000 per month to take some time our from your busy schedule for fun.  From all the people I’ve met at networking meetings, self development meetings, and masterminds I’ve learned that 90% of people are NOT having enough fun.  When I was kid, I would ask my father what I should be when I grow up.  His answer was “do whatever makes you happy, there is nothing more important in life.”  Sound advice no?  But then you should have seen his face when I left my corporate job in Toronto to work fulltime in real estate 😉

Anyways, this past weekend, the Zombie Race came to Milton to benefit the Credit Valley Hospital Foundation and they were looking for volunteers… volunteers to dress up and wear make up…. like zombies…. and chase runners in a 5km race.  I’ve run the race before so time try the other side, be a zombie, and chase the living 🙂

The runners where belts with velcrow flags, same as flag football and each flag was their lives or “brains.”  The objective for the runner is to complete the 5km race “alive.”

Just like investing in real estate, you need systems and our zombie system was make our zone difficult 🙂

We funnelled runners towards the large puddles on the course, toward other zombies, and sat and waiting on Zombie Hill as many runners were too tired to sprint up the hill to avoid us.  We got our fill of brains when they were there but we did not have to work overly hard as we leveraged the topography and teamwork more than our individual physical abilities.  Here are some videos of us just toying with the runners.
