Erwin has owned and still owns numerous investment properties: single family, renovate and hold, multi-family, multi-family conversion, and student housing. He left his corporate job at “Big Blue†to pursue his passion as an entrepreneur in investment real estate. In my opinion, sellers are looking to capture the gains in their homes thinking we may have peaked and the foreign buyer tax and new budget is the catalyst for home owners to take action.
A great question, and the first question I was asked by a reporter from Postmedia, so I figure I’d share my full answer as I get asked this question ALL THE TIME. To me, it’s an easy answer and it takes more than 60 seconds to explain, so I bore people before they excuse themselves from the conversation :P.
