Hello Real Estate Investors in Hamilton, Ontario!

Great turnout for last week’s Mr. Hamilton Inner Circle! Sorry if you missed our presentation on our tales from the trenches on strategies to win multiple offer scenarios.  One investors even applied what she learned that morning to beat four other offers on a Hamilton investment property that afternoon! She did so well, a competing agent contacted her, offering $5-10k more to assign them the deal.  Crazy, eh? The invite for April’s meeting already went out so RSVP ASAP to reserve your spot. We had a waiting list of eight folks last meeting.  That’s eight folks who were not able to benefit from networking and learning from our team and my more senior, uber-successful clients.

As I get older and busier with business and family, I kind of feel like I’d rather the day come and go without making a big deal of me getting older and reminding me I’m not as young, athletic, and energetic as I used to be. To celebrate, my wife Cherry of CCCPA.ca planned a surprise outing. A live escape room challenge at Omescape! Cherry tricked me into thinking we were going for Saturday afternoon tea and we arrived at Omescape, where they serve bubble tea but not food.  I always need to eat so I’m mildly annoyed thinking tapioca balls will have to suffice for food when, to my surprise, my friends start walking through the door.  Long story short, we all had a blast, even though we failed to escape. We worked well as a team. Everyone contributed and we were satisfied to make it to the final room of the “Dark Altar.”

After our failed escape, we all went to dinner joined by my parents and Robin for all-u-can -eat Korean BBQ because my friends know how I eat a lot 🙂

Anyway, I had a very memorable birthday celebration! Unlike the Leafs game Cherry and I attended on Monday (tickets were a Bday present when the Leafs were winning more than they lost) and we lost 2-1.  The first game in 15 years the Leaf’s did not sell out :p.  On the bright side, I’m going to free up a bunch of time not watching hockey for a few years.
