Hello Everyone Investing in Hamilton Real Estate!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I know I certainly did even though my weekends are a wee different than the general population.  But that’s what being a real estate investor is all about, we are different, the masses will not do what we do and that is why we get more from life (and our investments).

This past weekend was spent at an all day course for Realtors on Friday to help me grow my business and more importantly learn what regular Realtors do (I’m so NOT a regular Realtor).  Saturday morning was the Rock Star Inner Circle’s member event followed by lunch with our clients for some networking in a more intimate setting.  Here are some photos:

At the meeting we learned about some advanced landlording techniques from Mark Weisleder, multi-family investing from Pierre-Paul Turgeon, and a phenomenal economic update by Tom Karadza explaining why/how the US is devaluing their currency, running a 1.2 TRILLIION dollar deficit which is why low interest rates are here to stay but so is inflation and that is why I buy and hold real estate…. that and the great returns it provides me 🙂

After the meeting, I invited my team and clients for lunch for a more intimate setting to mastermind and network.  What I love about this group is that they’re all action takers who own property (even young Evelyn at 27 who owns two) including: rent to own, West Harbour, multi-family, students, and apartment buildings.  No theory or fluffy stuff just from the streets lessons you can only get from experienced Hamilton investors! Everyone had a turn to tell the group about their investments, successes, challenges, JV experiences, and what they need help with.  Everyone loved the format and wants to meet again on a regular basis which  I totally get it too because how often do you get to hang out with like minded people in small group setting on a Saturday afternoon instead of at a busy REIN meeting, late at night, after a long day at work, where all you can think about is your bed and what important work you have to do in the morning.

This is why team Mr. Hamilton is going to beta test a monthly meeting once a month on a Saturday morning at a secret location by invitation only.  My exerience with other networking groups has been that they’ve been disorganized, there are not enough experienced investors who know enough to share.  This group will be so much better as several of my clients will be there to network and share knowledge while we will limit the novices to only those who are serious and are only a step or two away from taking action.  We all want so badly to help everyone but unfortunately time is finite so we’ll only invite the best to attend.  And if anyone wants, we can go check out some available properties that fit our system after the meeting.
