Hello Hamilton Real Estate Investors!
Anyone out there want to know where the future Go Stations in Hamilton are going to go? If you don’t, I guess you’re not interested in getting higher rents of 10-16%…. I just happen to be so here’s the lastest:
- These are the stations that will be built as part of the Niagara expansion (Don’t hold your breathe though, we’re talking about four-five years away assuming the project gets funding)
- GO would also shift all-day, 20 trains per day, rail service to end at Centennial Parkway (aka Confederation Station) instead of James North
- Confederation Station: just thinking out loud but what if you had a rental property near both a Go Station and an LRT station? Any guesses where the Eastgate Square LRT station is supposed to go? (for a hint, click here for the transportation effect on Hamilton real estate) (Spoiler alert: this neighbourhood just might make it to an upcoming report on the top Hamilton neighbourhoods to invest, if you haven’t already, I would recommend subscribing for my newsletter to make sure you get it when it becomes available!!)
- Fruitland Road
- Grimsby
Sidenote: for those of you who are not from Hamilton think about this. When Hamilton is serviced on the Union (Toronto) to Niagara Falls Go Transit line, Hamiltonians living in James North can hop on a train and go to work during the week in Toronto and on the weekend, hop on the train and be in Niagara Falls. How nice would that be!?
