Hamilton is described in the ebook authored by REIN Canada (found here) as follows:
“Hamilton Located in the ‘most densely populated corridor of economic activity in Canada’, the City of Hamilton is poised for continued growth. Known formerly as a hardâ€working steel town, Hamilton has transformed itself into a diverse economy. A forward thinking government and Economic Development team have propelled Hamilton to nearly the top of our list of Ontario Investment Towns. An entrepreneurial spirit has entered the city as it puts the wheels in motion to create a major highâ€tech industrial park, in conjunction with growth at McMaster University. In fact, Hamilton’s leadership has been very innovative in terms of its revitalization plans throughout the city. The City has beaten its overall building permit value for the second year in a row.”
Thanks so much Mr. Hamilton, anyone can open the paper and read the article, so what?
Well, my plan is to report to all of my readers my own due diligence while I review why I invest in Hamilton. So, over the next few weeks I will be breaking down the above paragraph by REIN by analyzing the original reports and data to understand what it is that makes Hamilton the #6 investment city in all of Canada and #2 in Ontario.
So stay tuned and as always if you have any questions or topics you would like for me to discuss, please post them to the comments section below.
Thanks,
Erwin
